Kewpee has been in downtown Lansing since 1923. It's a locally owned burger and sandwich shop, a nice change of pace from the usual chains.
The Radisson is downtown Lansing's best hotel. Centrally located for all the business of the capitol, events of the Lansing Center or the nightlife of Washington Ave, the Radisson is the place to stay.
Wentworth park is located directly east of the Radisson Hotel and on the Grand River. There is a monument to 9/11 as well as an old clock. Have a seat in the shade with a great view of the river.
Located at 400 S Capitol Ave directly west of the Capital Area District Library, Reutter Park and its historic fountain is a hidden gem downtown. Enjoy lunch on a bench near the fountain and escape the concrete of downtown.
Ferris Park is comprised of two city blocks between Pine St and Walnut on Shiawassee St. There are benches, a playground, basketball court and a large field great for flying a kite or playing catch.
