Downtown Lansing

Coming up this weekend on 517 Day, is the Best of Lansing festival featuring live music, local artisans, food trucks, and more. The festival takes place on Capitol Ave, right in front of the Michigan State Capitol building.

While you're downtown, check out all the progress on New Vision Lansing, Ovation Center for Music and Arts, and the new Lansing City Hall.

Washington Square
Washington Square is the heart of downtown with some of the oldest businesses in Lansing. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping, LCC, Davenport and Cooley Colleges.
Stadium District
The Stadium District is about entertainment. New restaurants and breweries are opening up all the time. Catch a game and then dinner and drinks with many options.
Old Town Lansing
Old Town is the creative capital of Lansing. Home to many galleries, designers and some of the best and most eclectic dining options in the area. Home to several festivals as well.
REO Town
REO Town has been on the rise for a few years now and is really coming alive. The Robin Theater is a great place to catch a show and follow it up with a trip to the REO Town Pub.
Michigan Avenue Corridor
The Michigan Ave Corridor is the lifeline of Lansing. Stretching from the Capitol to MSU, you can find just about everything on Michigan Ave.
East Side Lansing
The East Side is full of eclectic shops and restaurants including Strange Matter Coffee, the Green Door and the Avenue Cafe.
